More Chemo Hats - Red Linen Cloche

I'm making more chemo hats! This is a a Red Linen Remnant Cloche - Very easy to make. I lined it with remnant fat quarter cotton fabrics. I had been collecting different types of clasps and applied it to this Cloche. It's very easy and very breezy to wear. Easier than tying a scarf for my head!

Now what other styles of chemo hats can I make?

  1. Thanks Ruthie! I'm going to learn how to make stiff cloche for the colder climates. I have lots of remnants to do that.

  2. That's fantastic - so bright and perky! I'm glad you're getting a chance to sew. I'm curious to see what other kinds of hats you will come up with!

I've only ever made one hat - it was a small-ish sunhat. it went together so easily from a light canvas material in orange/red flowers - very groovy for the early 1970's - lol. After our kids came along they used to wear it for dressing up. I have no idea where it is now!

    1. Thanks Jenny! I just want to do things I love all the time! Sewing has always been a big part of my life since I got bitten by the bug. The creativity, the relaxation, the freedom that comes with clothes that actually fit my body! Who knows how long I have on this earth! I need to fill it with joy, love, and happiness as much as possible!
