Refashion: So-so dress to Useful top

I have decided to refashion the so-so Pink Silk Noil dress to something more useful - a summery top! To make the top a bit more interesting, I cut a shirttail for the bottom hem.


Now I think this top will be quite useful for this summer! Another quick and easy refashion!

    I actually liked the dress (and sorry I didn't take the time to tell you that). But this top is lovely. Great save.

      Thanks Gaye! I just thought that it would get more use if it's a top rather than a dress. I'm just happy not to have wasted the fabric!

    You are happier straight away and that is the main thing - and the top will be a lot more wearable - the shirttail hem looks great :)

      Thanks Sarah Liz! I have lots of sundresses already but not enough sleeveless tops. So this will certainly help!
