I had lots of old men's jeans given to me by family members. I used lots of them for making jeans for my son. But then I was left with all these denim scraps.
As the school year was ending, I thought I would make some upcycled denim bags for the teachers as thank you gifts. It was quite fun to try to figure out how to put the pieces together! Here are the results:
I hope the teachers found them useful!
What a lovely gifts! You did a great refashion :) Nice work
ReplyDeleteThanks! I still have a bunch of denim scraps so I will need to figure out what to make with them.
DeleteThey are wonderful - now I won't be able to give anything to the op shop - I'll have to stash all my old things now so I can make these too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah Liz! I know what you mean - my refashion pile is growing fast! I try to donate items that are in very good condition. These jeans all have some holes in them so I thought I would keep them in the refashion pile.
