I went swimming with my daughter this morning in my new me-made swimsuit. It held up well enough! Now I just have to see how well it fares after a wash. Chlorine can do a real number on swimsuits.....
Now I'm itching to make my next swimsuit! I just have to figure out how I'm going to modify the Kwik Sew 2690 pattern.....
I've never made one. I have this beautiful tropical fabric and an excellent vintage style pattern that has been just sitting in my to-do pile. If only there were more hours in the day.
ReplyDeleteHi Reverse Clothing! Thanks for your comment. I really think you should try making the swimsuit. It's not as difficult as I thought it would be. I guess tweaking the fit is the time consuming part. Once that's done, you can make whatever swimsuit you like without the hefty price.
